High-performing charter and Gates grantee Rocky Mountain Prep was approved to take over low-performing Fletcher Community School in Aurora Public Schools (APS), and opened doors to preschool students in fall of 2016. Meanwhile, Gates grantee Denver School of Science and Technology continues ongoing negotiations with APS to open a school in the district.
